Apple today released iOS 11.4.1, the fifteenth update to the iOS 11 operating system, the first version of which was made available in September last year. This update (which could very well be the last for iOS 11) focuses on bug fixes and security improvements.
iOS 11.4.1 includes bug fixes and improves security for your iPhone or iPad. This update:
- Resolves an issue that prevented some users from seeing the last known location of their AirPods in Find My iPhone;
- Improves the reliability of syncing mail, contacts and notes with Exchange accounts.
The download of iOS 11.4.1 is available either through iTunes or via OTA (over the air) through Settings > General > Software Update.
In addition to iOS, Apple released tvOS 11.4.1 and watchOS 4.3.2 also with bug fixes. This wave of software updates is missing macOS High Sierra 10.13.6, which should be available soon.
