There has been a lot of talk about sustainability in recent years. There is talk of global warming and pollution. There is talk about taking care of the planet and alternatives. There is talk of desireto change and with will. But sometimes this desire ends up not being enough. I can make it clear ? we want to reduce the gases emitted by cars, the advantages of using public transport are publicized but the right conditions for this to happen are not created. Many point out the lack of conditions for the regular use of bicycles in urban areas, but today the subject I bring is different: the trains, sometimes early, sometimes late, but often disturbing the souls of their faithful users!
If, in big cities, we complain about 15 minutes of delay, or the occasional suppressed trains, in rural areas the picture It gets dark ? it's sprints for fear of missing trains that end up arriving late and in the worst case scenario it's hours of waiting for trains that don't arrive.
Well then, I present to you an application that, despite not saving lives in the literal sense(didn't you catch the pun?? See here ) can make things a lot easier. Whether to go to work or for long-distance trips, the app created by André Cachopas avoids some of the indeterminable waits in some locations where it is not yet possible to have access to updated timetables and offers you the possibility of finding out , in real time on your smartphone, what time the train passes your station.
Although it is still in the testing phase, the developer promises that the application ?already does what it is accurate.? CP Delays, the name given to the app (despite containing information about other operators such as Fertagus), allows access to the delays of this means of transport and choose the user's preferred stations.
It is available for Android, with an easy and intuitive design. In this way, users of train services throughout this country no longer have an excuse for lack of information about them. It's time to leave the car at home and? Go green? Or go home!
