OpenBox and Forall Phones have signed a new partnership with Lovys, a smartphone insurance company, with the aim of offering a complete and integrated solution for all customers who want to protect their cell phone.
With this partnership, you will be able to insure any smartphone purchased on Forall Phones and OpenBox websites or physical stores, against accidental damage, theft or loss, guaranteeing the investment made. Lovys insurance is activated through a monthly subscription ? which can be canceled at any time ?, valid for any mobile phone that is less than three years old and has a purchase price equal to or less than 2,500 euros.
What brands and models of cell phone can I insure?
As long as the equipment has been purchased in one of our stores, you will be able to insure any brand and model of cell phone. Note, however, that the brand and model of your cell phone will directly influence the price of the associated insurance. The more expensive your cell phone is, the more expensive your insurance will be.
To receive an insurance quote for your cell phone, you must enter its brand and model. You will then obtain a value based on the information provided and have access to the information document related to your insurance, as well as the respective contract.
Please also note that the repair or replacement of a mobile device can only be carried out through the activation of the insurance. This must be done from the Lovys application, following the steps indicated.
What should I do in the event of an accident?
With Lovys insurance, declaring your claim is easy and quick! To do so with your cell phone still working, simply access the Lovys application, your customer area from your computer, or send an email detailing your claim to the email address support@lovys.com.
In the event of theft of the insured property, you must report it to the competent police authorities and then present the corresponding report, as well as proof that your SIM card has been blocked, the purchase invoice for the cell phone and your civil identification document.
If your cell phone has suffered a total or partial break or there is a problem with oxidation, short circuit or water infiltration, you will need to send a video that validates your report. How does the repair or replacement of the insured cell phone work?
After the claim has been approved, your cell phone can be repaired or replaced. The repair will be carried out by one of our technicians or, if you prefer, you can send the equipment to our repair center, where we will take care of everything as quickly as possible.
If your phone cannot be repaired, we will send you a replacement phone. The new equipment will be refurbished and will be of the same quality as the initial device.
For the repair or replacement of the cell phone to be carried out, only the excess will be charged. If you have to send your cell phone for repair, we will cover the cost.
